It appear as though the company that provides our Chat feature recently updated their software and now one of their modules is being 'mis-classified' by Norton/Symantec and possible containing a virus. Until they have this resolved we have de-activaed chat. We've opened a support incident with Envolve and they will hopefully have this corrected soon.

I sailed my Irwin from NYC to Melbourne Australia, Panama on solo. She performed beautifully. Very easy to handle. I had trouble with the engine but boat was fine. I plan to stiffen the hull in the bows with stringers and add full bulkheads before doing much more sailing in higher latitudes. The shallow draft was great in South Pacific but not so good on the wind in the roaring 40's

I have now owned the boat for over a year and love it. I find her to be very responsive and easy to bring up to full speed under sail. The interior layout has been very functional and for the price I paid she is a boat I hope to own for many years to come. I do hope to find sorces for some replacement gear however. I did my first cruise with her from my homeport of New Orleans to Gulfport and Biloxi. Other than some water that was shallower than the keel it was a no problem cruise

Would love to share ideas and stories with other Citation 39 owners - BTW - Capricorn is a tall rig/deep keel version purchased in San Diego and trucked to New Orleans

Have had this boat since 1991 and been through lots of experience. Sail mostly on the Chesapeake Bay north and south of the Rappahannock river entrance to the bay. Lots of week and two week sails on the bay but only on the hook for 3 days max.
Interested in anyone's experience with autopilot for this boat. I have been advised not to install wheel mounted version but to install directly to the wheel and tiller connection. Thanks to anyone for the help.
