Solid, feeling of being safe, lots of room
Slow in light air
We moved to this boat from a old Ericson. As we have gotten older we found that a 4 hour sail to Catalina Island in the normal conditions would "beat" us up. After the same sail with the IP we feel much better. The boat sails much flatter so we don't have to hang on as much.
There is a ton of storage. I don't think we have half the compartments full. I am 6'4", 250 # and don't feel cramped below.
I would say the worst thing about her is sailing in light air. You have to remember that this boat in not intended to be a fast racer. (PHRF 171 OWC) If you are going to be in light air a lot you should consider a drifter in place of the heavy 130% jib or a close reaching asymmertical spinnaker.
I replaced the 3 blade fixed prop with a 3 blade Max Prop feathering prop. this made her back better than any other sailboat I have operated.
