Pros:
Light air, downwind in heavy air, tweakability, upwind speed, strength
Cons:
requires a lot of tweaking to get the best out of it. Lugging the o/b on and off the stern, needs new kites to be competitive, cramped for 6 crew to get around.
This boat is a blast to sail, will respond immediately to the slightest sail trim change, runs easily under 4 hp o/b, good for a couple to weekend/overnight. Reasonable on sail costs, huge rudder makes it very controllable.
Unless set up right it will not do well in light air. however when set up nice and loose on the rig with a long headstay it is an upwind machine.
