Description: Stay or storm sail for sale ( revised ad)

This beautiful full size storm or stay sail was made by north sails in 2000 for a caliber 40LRC. It was made for a mast storm sail. Easy to use by attaching a halyard to the top and raising it on the main to aid in storms and prevent broaching.

This sail is also easily converted to a stay sail adding hardware to the sail to use it as a stay sail.

This sail is a beautiful full size stay/ storm not some small triangle of fabric.

This sail had never been used and has been stored dry in its sail bag . It is in mint condition.

I am selling this as I don't use it and use the room in my aft berth where this is stored.

I'm asking $500 plus shipping ( that's ups based on buyers location- this sail weights 70 lbs in the box and comes with its sail bag. It can be used on a 35-42 caliber or refit to most boats. This is a not a roller furl sail it is either raied by a halyard or can be converted to use as a stay sail.

You can contact me at

I will consider an offer.
