Shelf life, huh? Well, that might be it.
Nothing listed on pkg or tube as date. Doubt if it's more than a year or so old. No vinegar typical smell; still gooey and came out of the tube OK. Listed on pkg as "fast curing" tho; so I guess I'll be R&Ring the lens

UNderstood about regular siicone as poison for most boat projects. Simply put.. Lexan is to be installed with silicone or silicone/urethane mix.. a specialty sealant for hi-rise glass work, as I understand it. Most common marine plastic glazings abhor most glues/caulks and such, so I didn't wanna melt the lens OR the unknown surround
