don't know how well you know and have prepared the boat. You say you have no off shore experience so I would suggest you have some one that does to go with you. that is a long way to go in one trip but there are several harbors to overnight in along the way. this would be the week to go as the weather should be very good in the high 70's lows in the 40's. watch the weather if the North westerly's decide to blow hard, don't go. leave early and motor around the point as sailing will be most likely all up wind. if you motor all the way you will need to stop for fuel as you will be going up wing most of the way. bring the proper safety gear and lots of anchor line as you will be in deep water on most of the trip.
