Re: Rum enjoyment

My favorite sippers, when I can find them
Barbancourt 15 Unusually good for a 15 anos, my favorite when found (rare in Louisiana)
Flor de Cana 23 or 18 One of the best rums my tongue had the delight to meet
Zacappa 23 Can rums be made any better?
Zacappa 25 although the 25 is rare and expensive, a little sweeter and smoother (if that's possible)
Pampero a little pepperier than the others, maybe not as smooth, me likey
7 year old Bacarrdi easily found, easily afforded, good value, don't hit the ceiling when wifey pours a can of coke on it, low hangover ratio
My favorite mixers
Baccardi Negro from Mexico
Meyers Dark
Old Rum from Belize
Flor de Cana 7 or 12 the 12 year old is my wife's favorite coke mixer, pretty good I must confess
No spiced rums on my list. I can add whatever spicies I need myself. For what its worth, I love rum and have been a collector/drinker for 20+ years. Need to expand my collection.
