Re: Fuel Cleaning Service - Yes or No?

I did. Used KleenFuel, paid about $250. I was told by the business owner and 2 people at the marina that he was there about 3 hours, filtered a lot of stuff out of my fuel tank. I suspect none of the previous owners had ever cleaned the tank.

Prior to treatment, I could feel sediment on the bottom of the tank with the dipstick; afterwards, I could not.

I have not have a problem with my diesel engine. I understand clean fuel is probably the single most important element in maintaining a diesel, so I change my filters regularly and monitor my tank. I plan to use the service again every several years to ensure my tanks and fuel are clean.
