I am skeptical if the process actually works and cleans the tank. Cutting a hole in the tank is just asking for leaks in my opinion. I never had fuel problems before, but the old engine burned fuel very inefficiency so it was turned over frequently. I have installed a racor fuel polishing unit in addition to the old favor unit. I have set it up so the filter will do the majority of the filtering, the polishing unit can act as a back up filter if required.
