yes its a 2 part pint with a 2 coat min, we put on 3 coats, and oly used a little over a half gallon of color base. The paint can either be sprayed or rolled and tipped. we sprayted cause you can do wet on wet coats with no sanding in between. Most consider Awlgrip the premium top of the line paint for boats, its a very hard paint. The down fall is that it can't really be wet sanded and then touched up and buffed out, but they make a paint called Awlcraft 2000 that lends its self to touching up more than regular awlgrip. But its not as hard and won't retain its color and gloss as long.
