Actually I dont think I sanded off a lot of paint. There was a heavy wite colored layer of oxidized something. I suppose I could have pressure washed it off but i wanted to make sure I could get it off. So sanding was light. This was originally the question in my mind before I started thinking color change. There is still alot of paint left except for a few spotty areas where it was flaking off the hull and had to be taken down.So I guess I would pick up a pint of something hard and red and just tough up those spots before launch. Maybe add one more coat on leading and water line areas well and let the rest go until a haul out for topside paint probably in a year. Does that sound possible?
