I'm not at a marina, it is called a boat harbor. Any thing goes as long as you do not drill holes in the dock, or use chains to the dock
cleats. But a lot of boats have chains to the dock
cleats, then go to an eye, then to dock
line to the boat. The chain tears up the dock
cleats, but the harbor master does not stop the practice. I do not use chain, but use anti chafe gear (old blue jeans and other materials). There are some boats using tires, whats the down side?
