You don't see Walmart or Target advertising at these events because they don't need to cater to the demographic, however I own a sailboat and I buy cleaning products and portable fans and trash bags for my boat at Target.
I'm pretty sure the "sailing lifestyle" has been used to market certain products to many people who could never afford a boat...
