I am considering adding a cockpit dodger to our 1979 T27-2. As evidence by measuremetns and a knot on my head, the boom needs to be raised by a foot or so. I have seen this model at various sites with what appear to be raised booms.
Does anyone have experience with raising the boom either pro or con? The decision will affect the purchase of a new main in the near future.
