Re: Sailing Weather?

Not as snowy as in New Brunswick but still a maximum of only 3 degrees centigrades here. The MetOffice has again announced further snow flurries and Sunday is supposed to be the coldest Easter in living memory here

If my winter refit would have been done, I might just bite the bullet and get "Rockhopper" into the water. I am seriously sailing deprived. But still have to sand a third of her bottom and antifoul, need to look at the leaking fore hatch and finish my rudder modification (the latter I've only started 'cause we had a few mild days earlier this years and I thought it would stay like this ). One advantage did the cold weather bring for me: I've managed to do a few things inside the boat that I probably woul have never tackled. Isn't a warm air heater something great ! And the attic at home is extremely well organized with a good working area for more projects to do in future

Spring will come ! Repeat all after me : Spring will come !!!!
