Here on the Bohemia, there are 4 nests within sight of my boat. One is on a chanel marker up the river, 3 on old piles down stream and the one right here where I put that frame up. This nest is only 30 feet away from the nearest floating dock, and they will let you get to the end of the finger on that dock without flying up from the nest, but they sure tell you that you are getting close and start to get a bit noisey. I think it will work out just fine with the nest where it is and a lot better then the pair that decided to build its nest on the travel lift at hacks point. Like this they are out of the way and out of danger but close enough to watch.
