Bermuda

I will be in Bermuda -on very sailing-related business (more on that later) - in June.

I was thinking of lugging my dive gear down and am wondering if it's worth it. I've looked into the diving sites for Bermuda. Looks like lots of wrecks in relatively shallow water. The web-sites claim vibrant reefs and lots of marine life. I didn't see much evidence of that in the photos.

I have extensive experience diving in the Great Lakes (Huron, Georgian Bay, Erie, Ontario), the St. Lawrence, Florida (Atlantic side, caverns), Caymans, Cuba, St. Kitts, Roatan, Bonaire, Mexico (Cozumel, cenotes), California, Vancouver Island.

I know there are a bunch of divers on this site. Any personal experience you can offer would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Visualize the vastness of the oceans; the infinity of the heavens; the fickleness of the wind; the artistry of the craft and the frailty of the sailor. The oneness that may be achieved through the harmony of these things may lead one to enlightenment. - Flying Welshman
