Agree with all. However, it seems to me that on first blush, a lot of recent amazing sailing stories came across as if the sailors had alterior motives, or were just not doing justice to the sport, or something. Then when all the hype died down it turns out they had some good stories (Matt Rutherford, Ronnie Simpson).
+1 on Ronnie Simpson. I'm a huge fan of that guy. In his case - it was all about perseverance in that face of huge criticism. And look where it got him.
I'll have to look into Matt. I don't know his story.
