Re: Making Distilled Water?
Really? Call up your local friendly state university and ask for the analytic chemistry department.
Really? I have a meter which reads the selenity of my RO water and get readings of around 200PPM. RO water from the marinas I have been to usually produce readings in the 600PPM range. The meter is actually reading conductivity/resistance. Distilled water should read zero and is used to wash electrical transmission poles where the lines have voltages of 29,000 volts.
I really fail to see why the OP has a problem. A one gallon jug should last him long enough to get from one port to another and distilled water is readily available. A one gallon container takes up less space than a still or sixteen 8 ounce containers.
