Re: Yanmar 3GM30 engine: information needed on rebuilding

Our boat has a rebuilt 3gm30f.
The previous owner had the old A4 removed and replaced with one.
In all he had a rebuilt 3gm30f with it's associated parts, ie; fuel tank, wiring etc., a new transmission, driveshaft and stuffing box all replaced. Total cost was $12,000.
The parts are easy to find but don't use regular Yanmar tractor parts, use there marine grade parts only. There is a difference.
We have three rules;
No screaming.
No bleeding on the sails.
No slobbering on the charts.
