Schumacher XCS15 overcharging ?

Hi,

I usually place my battery switch to both and connect the Schumacher for charging about once every 2 weeks during winter.

I noticed that my wet deep cycle marine battery banks were spitting and boiling whilst charging with my Schumacher XCS15 over the winter so I took my multimeter and read over 15.5 volts going into the batteries.

I usually place my battery switch to both and connect the Schumacher for charging about once every 2 weeks during winter.

Is this okay, it seems a little high to me ?

Has this charger ruined my battery banks?
