Re: Alejuela 38 vs Pearson 365/367
After reading that story I wanted to be part of it back then! It reminded me of the group of fishermen in Bellingham who ran a huge weed smuggling operation from S.E. Asia back then. They even had a TV documentary made about them.
People and activities like that define the words Rogue, Reprobate and so forth.
The best kind of "Pirates". It was the modern iteration of the old rum runners that operated so brazenly here almost 100 years ago.
It's too bad so few of them ever pulled it off successfully without descending into Coke and serious criminal activity. Now it's all bikers and guns and psycho viciousness. Back then it was more like a mischievous and exciting adventure.
I, myself, personally intend to continue being outspoken and opinionated, intolerant of all fanatics, fools and ignoramuses, deeply suspicious of all those who have "found the answer" and on my bad days, downright rude.
