Why would any one recommend a 150 as a Primary Headsail?
You currently have only two sails on your boat. A decent shaped mainsail and a blown/baggy jib (100%). SO really you have only one true functioning sail. The blown jib does help move the boat, but not efficiently.
Forget about anything over 135% unless you have a deep keel and/or plan to sail with rail meat and race hard. Depending on your boat you'll, be way overpowered anything over 12kt of wind when beating. Once over 12kts of wind, you'll have too much helm, constantly adjusting, and sailing inefficiently (slow). More is not always better.
A 130 or 135 is the sail you want for a general work house sail. Good area for light area, not too much for steady "heavy" air up to about 22kts. With adjustment at the helm or reefing the main, you could probably use it up to about 25-30kts.
If you liked my advice/response, give me some rep points. If you didn't......well what do you expect, it was free.
