Re: Almost free boat

I bought my first hull from Markos, a local quality builder. He built a semi production 39 foot "sort of" Mason design at his shop and had a 38' version of it as his personal boat - I suspect it was actually the plug for the 39 as they were indistinguishable other than the 38 being scratch built.

I ran into him years later when he was provisioning the 38 for offshore. I commented on how good it looked and he said he had just finished a stem to stern re-do of it.

He said it would have been faster and easier to have built a new 39.

I, myself, personally intend to continue being outspoken and opinionated, intolerant of all fanatics, fools and ignoramuses, deeply suspicious of all those who have "found the answer" and on my bad days, downright rude.
