Mal de debarquement

"Mal de debarquement" sounds more nautical tho' doesn't it?
In the dark ages pre internet took us a week to find a doctor who knew what it was. Only known cure is a hard reboot of the central nervous system, couple Valium or stiff rums and 12 hours sleep.
Back in the day the cure was getting roaring drunk and waking up in the gutter broke after a long voyage.
" Honest dear, I was so dizzy the only cure was getting hammered, I don't know what happened to my pay "
