Re: sailing with CB up?
Worst case scenario you will need or want to motor back to the dock if unpwind and the CB does not drop. I sailed a mini trimaran yesterday Windrider 17. It was fun off the wind at 10 knots. At the end I had to tack back to the dock up a narrow bay. I am not sure this is the case with all multihulls without center boards but it could not point at all and it took me 45 minutes to tack less than a mile. My guess is the boat tacked through 110 degrees then slid sideways when close hauled. You can expect similar performance if your CB does not come down.
Hopefully your CB comes down or the wind stay abaft all day for you. Let us know how it goes.
