One handed epoxy work
I'm sure others do this but I've never seen it mentioned. I had a small epoxy repair and tried something new that worked great.
I put a glove on my left hand only.
It took a little concentration for a while but by the third day it was automatic.
I had my right hand clean for tools and my left hand for picking up cloth and patting it down.
I had two sticks.
One dirty stick that I held with my left hand to slip under some wet cloth to cut a dart with my clean knife and right hand. It was wet both ends
I had one clean stick I used with my right hand to help position a piece of cloth. It was wet only on one end.
When the job was done my hands and tools were clean.
The lesson from the Icarus story is not about human failing.
It is a lesson about the limitations of wax as an adhesive.
If you have an engineering problem solve it.
