I just went to look up the tensile strength of 7/8" Sta-Set and it doesn't appear that NE Ropes shows anything above 18mm (a bit bigger than 5/8") on their website. Sure it was Sta-Set?

I don't disagree with the poster who suggests VPC over Sta-Set X. I wasn't making an exact suggestion, just suggesting a slightly higher up the food chain line might work better.

I was interested to see, when looking up tensile strengths, that they are not necessarily higher for the same size line, in these modestly better performers (X or VPC). It seems the real advantage is in stretch, weight or perhaps whether they absorb water.
