The two happiest days of a sailors life is the day they buy their boat, and the day they sell it.

You know I see this quote so much and it seems so negative. I've even used this quote so it is in no disrespect to the poster. So much pleasure and enjoyment are had on boats it's worth it to me -and I'm not wealthy. The best days of my life have been aboard sailing yachts. And I know they will continue to be. I have to pinch myself as the good times go on and on. I try to put a positive spin on even the tough times. There's lots of tough times. Life is short. Somedays never happen. Do it now or forever regret what you could have.
