I second kellysails, the kayak-cut PFDs work better for dinghies, plus they have pockets and such.
Yeah but that takes all the fun out of it. I equate it to my philosophy on skiing. If you donít fall once in a while, you were not trying hard enough. The best way to get better is to push yourself to try things youíve never done. (within reason of course).
Thanks for the advise, I think a Kayak vest is the way to go.
