Re: My Liveaboard Cruising experience with Offshore Sailing School

Trent, my wife and I went with Delmarva Sailing school in Rock Hall, Maryland. I purposely chose July because winds are normally light, my wife was scared of sailboats, she suffers from motion sickness, and it happened to coincide with our 15th anniversary and we wanted to have a bit of an adventure. I credit the school and our instructor with winning my wife over, and it allowed me to step back and be on the same level as my wife. Sometimes it's better to have someone else teach your spouse... I also heard that there is a school in Annapolis for women that is run and taught by women. Maybe it might help, because there seems to be lots of guys who wish their wives or GF's would like sailing.

1983 Starwind 22 w/pop top
Trailer-sailing our way from Pennsylvania to Ontario Canada and soon the Chesapeake Bay!!!
