I concur. Basic Keelboat by USSA, or Sailing Fundamentals from ASA/USCG AUX, both simple and basic, will work fine. Thing is, to get them, I think you have to enroll in one of the sailing courses. Not that that's such a bad idea. In general, USSA is more racing-oriented, and ASA more cruising-oriented.
