Re: Headed to Catalina!

Last year my wife and I chartered from Long Beach for 3 days on a vacation to California. LA and points south to San Diego where we got to sail on Dennis Conners Stars and Stripes for 5 hours ( my wife had the helm for 25 minutes)..

We visited Catalina for 2 days and really loved it there. It's like a lost piece of culture. We took a hummer ride 4hours throughout he island and saw the buffalo, eagles and all the dwarf trees. Very interesting pace to visit and a must see on your bucket list.

The beautiful painted tile we picked up on Catalina is displayed prominently in out den.

It's a must see place.
