Belhaven is almost a mandatory stop for most of us on the ICW - unless you're into long, long runs. Belhaven has now installed a new free town dock, with power, water and pumpout, and are about to install a second. The debil (sic) is in the details....
Dock one is close to downtown, meaning a couple of decent restaurants, and a good hardware store, and interesting museum. Dock two, soon to be opened, is much closer to the grocery store, auto supply store and dollar store.
Hopefully, the River Forest will be reopened with a new menu, etc., since for years it was one of THE stopping places on the ICW.
