Yes, I used that stuff to only clean and blacken the black parts. The dome was replaced. The old dome had cracks. I think the cracks are due to stress introduced when the dome was formed.

I did try to clean the old dome with the Meguiar's PlastX. After seveal minutes of rubbing and buffing I couldn't tell the difference from the polished spot and an unpolished spot. Makes me think there is some clouding internal to the plastic.
