May not be efficient, but, you can tack, adjust the block, then tack back. Or, also not really easy, you could keep going, tie another sheet onto the headsail, put another block on further back, (grab the one from the windward rail), run it through, cleat it off, and finally take the original off. Final idea: If the jib does not hoist the full length of the forestay, you could change the lead angle by changing how high the jib is hoisted.
