FWIW - I re-plumbed all the hoses with my VacuFlush system last year to eliminate all low spots where effluent could sit in the hose or pipe. There was a dip between the holding tank and the pumpout fitting where the yard that did the install used 5 extra feet of the Dometic PVC hose, rather than cut 2 2¼" holes through 2 bulkheads. Despite rinsing after every pumpout, effluent and water would remain in this dip, and it was the source of "that smell."

I used a combination of Sched 80 PVC, and Trident 102. I believe that the Trident 102 is cheaper than the Dometic flexible PVC.
