G- I wondered that too...
Nissan & Mercury 5 hp 2 strokes are both Tohatsu motors. Interestingly Nissan offers double the warranty. We have had great luck with the 5 hp Nissans, preferring the built-in tank model for tenders - leaves more room in the
dinghy, gravity feed so no priming, hoses etc. Also had one on our 24 foot racer, got about an hour from a tank.
