Yes, the keel is hard to check if it is steel bolts into iron keel usually since the 4 steel blots are buried under an inch of fiberglass...the C-26 may have lead ingots glassed into a the keel part of a one-piece hull mold and may not have bolts but someone in here knows or you can visit the Columbia yacht owner website and search some threads or ask around...Chances are if he is willing to go out with you under sail...the boat is a decent buy for that money...if the chainplates holding the shrouds were bad or the keel was about to fall off he likely wouldn't go with you
