Thanks for the feedback. I should have mentioned that I have almost no sense of smell, even for ordorized substances like gas or LPG.

I've used the Xintex line of sensors for LPG in the past, but doing some reading on their gasoline detection products, I came across a review stating that the sensors have a unacceptably high failure rate, but more important, that they do not reliably indicate as failed using the "Test" function. If this is the case (??) I would like to source an alternate make, preferably one that also has the capability to turn on the blower in the event of an alarm.

Looking for experience with these units, recommendations and preferred supplier(s),
