Re: CNG stove and microwave
We have CNG and a microwave (ours is under the galley sink where the drawer used to be for those who know C34s). We have a 1500 watt Freedom 15 inverter charger. We have a backup CNG tank on board, and CNG is available right down the street from us as well as one place in the California Delta that we know of.
The whole issue of CNG vs. propane is soooo overdone and old...
If you are out of an area that has easily available CNG, then the switch is easy. Call Seaward, give them the serial # of your stove (open the top after taking off the burner pot holders) and you'll get everything you need. Build a tight vented propane box, or stow the cans on deck somewhere with a watertight and airtight entry into the boat with the hose, buy a solenoid and be done with it. WM Advisors have a good writeup of what you need.
Good luck, it's doable either way.
PS - that backup CNG is something that has, well, saved our bacon, more than once!
On our C34 it's under the port settee forward with a hole cut into the wall to the V berth under the drawers, to make it fit.
