A really shocking read about work practices over 100 years go that are chillingly reminders of some things going on today.

Read that a few years ago along with a couple of others re Broome and the pearling industry. A most interesting era in Australia's maritime history.

I love reading the classic cruising books. Older the better. Of course not a lot is applicable to our situation today but history is history, a good read is a good read.
