Given that PaulinVictoria did not post a link I reckon you are way off base, Sawing. OpenCPN is not bogus, indeed it may well be one of the most valuable resources going around. This is expecially so for you damned Americans (envy my friends, envy) who can download all those free NOAA charts. Us poor bustards have to pay for them.

ps - I have just gone to the OpenCpn site, it is open on my machine as I type. Whatever problems you have Sawing, they are not courtesy of Paul or OpenCpn.
