Meds point about the chainplates is a good one. An SJ28 a couple of weeks ago at the Pink Boat regatta at shilshoal lost a mast, The WHOLE blinken chain plate pulled out of the deck upwards, then the rig went down. Fortunately no one was hurt. Look around for other potential issues. At the same time, for how I have seen you say you sail........
