Re: What's the most absurd seller statement you've heard

"Boat is Mint" and had bent stanchions, rusty lifelines, green and black sails (and they were originally white!), broken water heater, cockpit sole had a hole in it, head did not work, no pressure water pump, broken auto pilot (replacement parts on the Vbirth) engine exhaust leaks, varnish all over the dingy and gel coat worn through decks etc, oh and the said green and black sails, they were "new," well at least they were when they bought the boat 25 years ago! But at least the upholstery was clean! Oh and they had the table set up with place settings, guess they thought they were staging the boat, and every plate and cup was cracked, so I guess they had a low standard for "mint" or perhaps they meant that the boat smelled like a mint?
