Apparently, most of the titanium/aluminum cookware sold in the US is manufactured by one company in Germany and I'd love to track them down. I'm not sure if the scanpan is the same stuff - it's a lot cheaper than the other titanium cookware I've seen on the market, and a fraction of the price of the stuff I saw sold at the Annapolis boatshow (>$200 for a single saucepan). Either the stuff at the boatshow was a scam, or it's coming down in price. Anyway, the stuff I saw demonstrated was very neat.
