Re: Water in the bilge

I seem to be in the minority re. this.
But as I've managed to make 3 of my own and several other peoples boats bone dry I'm of the firm opinion that this should be done - Just the other day the neighbor boat noticed a Little Water in the bilge (which usually is bone dry) and we traced it to the raw Water pump. The amount was so tiny he wouldn't have noticed in a "wet bilge".
In heavy weather a heck of a lot of Water can get in through locker lids etc which may only cause a very tiny amount the rest of the time, but you'll be happy that you took the time to stop it when the sh1te hits the fan..
