There are charters on Mount Desert, (where Bar Harbor is) Hinkley is SW Harbor or try Camden Wayfarer Marine

It's a big place, and would take you the better part of a day to get to Bar Harbor from Rockland. Bar Harbor is rough, NE harbor is the place to go. If you really want to get away from the crowd head east - Rogue Island - Grand Manan
