Good, now you're starting to define your wants/needs a bit after having some experience on a boat. Granted, it's a singular experience, but you did the right thing and focused on how the boat would "feel" with you aboard even if that particular boat wasn't the one for you. That's what we wanted. If you want to buy a boat like the Ranger and fix it up, then that's great, as long as you believe it will actually work for your purposes.

What was your budget again?
