You have three options
  1. Bring the furler to the rigger
  2. Bring the rigger to the furler
  3. Find a friend you can bring
  4. Learn to do the splice
  5. ?

This is an easy splice to do -one of the easiest double braid splices.

Basically it's all about removing the core in the splice section and cross the cover into it self and get a tight fit where the core/cover ends meet inside the rope. Secure by cross stitching.
